Job description

Title:                  Sr. Sales Manager

Reporting To:  (Senior) Sales Director / Vice President

 

Purpose of Job:

Structure, lead, manage and supervise a sales team to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for the assigned responsibility area

 

Main Responsibilities:

- Responsible region sales result

- People / team coaching / management

- New business / customer developing, A/R management

 

1. Structure and develop sales team / organization

- Define together with the Company management a sales organization (direct and indirect) suitable to achieve the Company targets in the region

- Develop and manage the direct sales channels.

 

2. Prepare sales plans in terms of business volume

- Prepare and finalize with headquarters, local marketing and management for the sales plans on a yearly basis in terms of business volume (bookings / billings, market shares) and receivables.

- Manage the the costs and headcount plans of saels organization

- Responsible for achieving the finalized budgets.

 

3. Business development

- Constantly survey the market and identify in cooperation with the local marketing team new business opportunities.

- Lead the sales structure to find new customers / applications and to extend the business with the existing customers according to the defined strategies.

- Monitor the business development and provides updated forecasts on regular basis.

- Responsible for the reliability of the forecasts.

 

4. Customer relationships

- Visit customers in order to establish and maintain good relationships, especially towards the management level.

- Lead the sales team towards full understanding of the customers, their needs / priorities and decision processes. Represents the Company c/o the customers.

 

5. Management of the team

- Contributes to the formulation of the Company procedures and operational guidelines.

- Guide the personnel towards the achievements of its targets in terms of personal and career development for the individual and Company benefit.

Requirements

1.    Degree in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or equivalent is preferred;

2.    more than 8-10 years of sales and sales management

3.    Preferable have relative experience in passive components and related application market

4.    Multinational company working experience is preferred;

5.    Chinese and English. German is of advantage;
